ZAKA
ZAKA, Israel's dominant non-governmental lifesaving, rescue and recovery organization, operates over 1500 volunteers, on call 24/7 to respond to all incidents of unnatural death (including traffic accidents and terror) and ensure a full Jewish burial. ZAKA is active in emergency response, search and rescue (specialist canine, divers and rappelling units) and accident prevention.
